New Wine

Matthew 9:16-17
"No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins and both are preserved.
Jesus turned the water into wine and made it the best of all the wine at the wedding celebration, but He only did it after they ran out of their natural wine. He used the earthen clay pots and had His disciples fill them with water. He fills us as earthen clay vessels with the water of His Word, Logos and Rhema! Then He turns the water into new wine, the first and sweetest wine as the Greek says. He turns us as earthen vessels into those new wine skins as we yield to His working in our lives. Then He fills us with His Logos and Rhema Word and turns it into the new wine from Heaven. We are to be served out into this earth as His new Wine, Heaven To Earth, Kingdom Culture. We can't afford any longer to live in the old! Let's be transformed into those new wine skins so He can fill us with His New Wine, Kingdom Culture.

Refreshment Comes from the Lord

The Greek word for weariness is kopiao'.  It means to labor until worn out, depleted, exhausted.
This is one of the main tool of satan.  He wants us to become  weary, worn out, or exhausted in our emotions as well as physically. This leads many times to depression and hopelessness.  I have found myself saying lately, Lord, I'm so tired.  I had to catch myself and first change what I've been saying.  Thank you Lord for giving me Your strength today.  Thank you Lord that the promises that You made me are yes and amen and are coming to pass.  Thank you Lord that I rest in You and You take care of every need and situations in my life.  I rest and trust in You alone!!! In Jesus Name!!!

The word refresh or refreshment in the Greek is Anapauo.  It's meaning is to rest, take your ease, cease from your own labors.  I like this because, even in everyday life, no matter where we are, we can be refreshed by resting and trusting in His promises.  Whenever I feel, wiped out, or stressed,  I can come and lay every care at His feet.  In these times, it has felt just like this picture.   His refreshing rain comes pouring down upon me, removing all of the negative emotions of the cares and labor that I have been trying to fix myself.

Oh, we have a Heavenly Father and our Wonderful Lord Jesus who loves us so.  Come Holy Spirit!!!  Flood us with Your Refreshing Presence!!!

Seated With Him

Have you ever been so overcome with fear that it paralyzes you and you can't move. It just seems like every negative circumstance is screaming at you at one time. That usually happens when we take our focus off of the Lord and then begin to look at our circumstances. They begin to look a whole lot bigger and more real than what the Word says. At that point and even before it gets to this we need to ascend back to our positon in Him. Ephesians 2:5 says, "...and God raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus," NASB
This is our true position, up there with Him and in Him. I know for myself that when I came to that realization that my position is up there and not down here, it made the circumstances of life and the lies of the devil a mere stepping stone to the greater things that He has for me.
We are seated with Him in Heavenly places and our view is a whole lot clearer from up there!

Receive His Comfort

You know sometimes the Lord just wants to sit and hold us in His arms and love on us. He wants to remove all of the pain and walls of defense that keeps us from trusting Him fully and others. It's so wonderful when He pours His healing love into our heart and soul. We just need to be still long enough and let Him ❤️

Time To Step Out

The Lord is calling many to step out of your boats and onto the water with Him. He's got you, just trust Him by faith. You don't have to be afraid of the unknown. Move when He tells you to, otherwise be still and listen, but get out of the boat as an act of obedience and faith.
